For us, the customer rules. And by “customer” we mean our customers. A digital strategy that does not radically focus on customer experience is possible, but pointless. Especially when it comes to strategic issues, an insider’s perspective doesn’t provide any answers. We help our customers to take on the perspective of their customers and to develop a digital strategy that meets real needs.

We don’t dazzle our customers with bullshit buzzwords or promise them the moon. We provide a high level of consulting where competence meets craftsmanship that can clearly be seen – with UX, design, technology and the accompanying communication that bring the strategy to full development. We know what is realistically possible – and what belongs in the realm of “digital fairy tales”.

With us by their side, our customers can take advantage of very real opportunities arising from digitization. Depending on the industry and company, these can be new revenue streams through new digital services and products as well as increasing efficiency in sales and customer service through automation and gaining access to new markets and customer groups.

The various facets of digitization present companies with very different challenges. It brings disruption to some, a strong impact on business to others. But one thing is crucial for everyone to be competitive: you have to be at the forefront, recognize trends early on (and distinguish them from short-lived hypes), and adjust your business accordingly.

We have a number of examples of this. We strategically planned the introduction of a new digital service for a freight forwarding company. We have identified suitable customer touchpoints for an industrial company. For a financial services provider we developed a roadmap for the digital transformation of its customer communications. We can name many more examples and would be happy to do so over a cup of coffee in a personal conversation.

We can also talk about how we approach strategic concepts and think about successful, digital business models for a wide variety of industries, how we formulate and implement corporate goals in the digital space, and how we can digitally transform business processes.

When developing a strategy we work intensively with our customers, coordinate closely with their stakeholders, and take into account the expectations and wishes of their users (as though they were our own).

Three Steps to a Digital Strategy:

    1. Get to Know Users and the Market Situation
A truly good strategy doesn’t poke around in the fog, but relies on good data and facts. We use the most appropriate methods for our user research and analyses:
    - User sessions and focus groups
    - Web analytics and conversion tracking
    - Market research: online surveys, telephone surveys
    - Best practice, benchmark analyses

    2. Develop a Professional Digital Strategy
How can we be sure that a strategy fits to your company? Quite simply: we work closely with our clients throughout the entire process. With joint workshops we are be able to develop a focused and effective digital strategy on the following topics:
    - Digital Transformation
    - Development or adaptation of a digital business model
    - Digital Growth Strategy
    - Marketing Automation
    - Omnichannel
    - Content Strategy
    - Partnering

    3. Competent Implementation Support
What does the best strategy count for if it can’t be implemented or if it wastes customer experience opportunities? Exactly nothing! That’s why we also think about how a digital strategy can be implemented in concrete projects.

If we were mistaken in our strategic thinking for digital transformation, we would very likely have to pay for it ourselves. Because we also implement strategically important projects for most customers – complete with a comprehensive service design concept, well thought-out UX, a fresh design, and state-of-the-art digital technology.

But naturally we are also available to support implementation by third parties, because, for example, a customer has their own IT department or preferred implementation partners. With reviews and as advisory members of the project team, we ensure that the projects are implemented in line with the strategy.

Whether for a university, a bank, a start-up or a beverage manufacturer, we conceptualize, design and build state-of-the-art websites in all possible sizes and for a wide variety of purposes – and always with a guaranteed optimal user experience.

You can see this for yourself: since 2005, we have built, optimized and renewed over 500 websites, operate and maintain many of them, and ensure that they are reliably found with sophisticated SEO and professional online marketing.

A really good website can be recognized at first glance: users “feel” in a fraction of a second whether a website is top-notch. But not everything on the surface (user interface) is necessary for success.

At a glance, the website must first be found and it must load quickly. The UI design (web design) must immediately show the user that it is a high-quality website.

Users need to be able to navigate the website easily and be guided to the desired result of their visit, whether this is a registration, purchase, information, or something else entirely. It needs compelling text and strong images and/or video content, as well as graphics that present complex information in an easily understandable way.

All functions and, if necessary, interface connections must work reliably and smoothly. In many cases, especially for public institutions, accessibility is a core requirement. And, of course, a website must be secure against hacker attacks.

In summary: the expectations of the users must not only be met, but exceeded in the sense of an optimal user experience – the same applies, of course, to the expectations of our customers.

We can set the bar so high because at FONDA we have perfected all the disciplines required to develop and operate such a state-of-the-art website. Our specialists are constantly learning and working together in well-rehearsed teams to ensure that the various disciplines mesh seamlessly and efficiently.
    - Requirements analysis and conception
    - Search Engine Optimisation
    - User Experience (UX) Design
    - User Interface (Design)
    - Copywriting and Editing
    - Frontend Development
    - CMS Entwicklung
    - Conversion Optimierung
    - Barrierefreiheit
    - Video and Photography

As a web agency, we offer our customers all the ingredients needed for an impressive web presence of the best quality. But we have gone a big step further in founding the subsidiary FONDA Labs which, as a software company, brings top quality to all technical disciplines.

A website without a content management system (CMS) is hardly imaginable today, except in a few exceptional cases. Businesses need control over their online content and must be able to respond quickly and easily to the need for change.

There are thousands of providers for modern CMS, and each system has its advantages and disadvantages. Based on experience, we have narrowed down the circle to the following common systems and, together with our customers, select the CMS that best fits the requirements of the project and the needs of the customers.

    We work with these CMS:
    - TYPO3
    - Drupal
    - Ibexa
    - WordPress
    - Magnolia
    - Liferay
    - Kentico
    - Sharepoint

Choosing the right basic system is also an essential component of success for online shops. The systems must be secure, have a high degree of flexibility for the implementation of your own ideas and be “too big to fail”. With the shop systems of smaller providers, there is a risk that the system will no longer be developed further and you will have maneuvered yourself into a dead end that will force a relaunch.

    We use:
    - Shopware
    - WooCommerce

In addition to websites in the conventional sense, we build many complex applications based on web technologies. These can be insurance calculators or real estate searches, configurators or booking systems, GIS systems and much more.

With such web-based applications, perfect usability is even more important than with websites since the applications are worthless for the users if they cannot operate them. We therefore ensure the usability of web-based applications through careful user research and multi-stage usability reviews and testing.

You can analyse the needs of the target groups in detail, plan the campaign perfectly and put together the best implementation team for all media channels – but if the idea doesn’t work, it’s all for nothing.

That’s why our creative people don’t rest until they’ve worked out a really strong idea. Because only with a brilliant idea will your advertising campaign get the desired attention from the target group by standing out from the “clutter” of the thousands of messages that rain down on us all day every day.

We plan cross-media advertising campaigns right from the start. All channels that are relevant to the campaign, such as digital, social, TV, radio, print, out of home, etc., are planned in an integrated way, precisely coordinated and linked to one another.

Whether digital, social, print or video: our experts from a wide range of disciplines work together with a great deal of expertise and creativity to implement the advertising material for almost all media channels in-house. For the production of radio spots and elaborately produced TV commercials, we work together with selected, experienced production partners.

With a great deal of experience and commitment, we take on the professional media planning and execution of campaigns in all media channels for you. We work on a purely fee-based basis and completely dispense with hidden kick-backs and similar (quite common in the industry), non-transparent billing practices.

As with online-only marketing, we also emphasize careful measurement of success across all media channels and the entire conversion funnel (end-to-end tracking) for cross-media campaigns.

It’s the experience that counts. Namely, the experience that users, customers and employees have with your brand at various touchpoints. There’s a lot at stake when it comes to UX (user experience), CX (customer experience), and EX (employee experience), regardless of where the contact with the brand happens: in an app, on a website or terminal, by phone or in a store – anywhere.

We are an experienced UX agency and can help you with four disciplines to design an outstanding “experience” to strengthen your brand in the long term.

    1. User Research: What Users Really Want
There is always a gap between what you think users want and what they really want. We know this from more than 200 user research projects.
Our portfolio of methods is well maintained so that we can apply the right combination for each project, e.g.:
    - “Customer Top Tasks” analyses
    - Focus Groups
    - Online Surveys
    - Surveys and Interviews
    - Acceptance checks
    - Web Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
    - Social Media Analyses
Only when we have a clear picture of the needs and preferences of users are we satisfied. Then we can build everything else on a solid basis.

    2. User Experience (UX) Design: To the Point
The optimal user experience (UX) lies in the “sweet spot” between the dimensions of user needs, economic goals, and technical framework conditions. Our UX designers always have these three dimensions in mind when they develop the information architecture, including sketches, wireframes and prototypes (click dummies), which serve as the basis for coordination with stakeholders and for user testing, but also as a template for the graphic design (the GUI) and serve as documentation of the requirements for technical implementation.

    3. User Interface (UI) Design: Love at First Sight
Users decide at the speed of light whether they love an application or not. The decisive factor is the quality of the graphical user interface (GUI) – or in other words: the design must be convincing from the very first second. Our UI designers achieve this by first creating a basic UI design based on a well thought-out UX design and then designing all page types and modules for apps, websites and terminals, in an agile dialogue with the customer.
Our designers are always a step ahead. This keeps their designs young for a long time. To ensure that the new digital application blends in harmoniously with the range of other media channels, we naturally take an existing corporate design into account.

    4. Usability Review and Testing: The Acid Test
Your own judgment is good, but objective results are better. That’s why our usability experts thoroughly check the usability of all new developments. With expert reviews and usability tests, problems can be diagnosed in good time. Of course, our usability team also provides optimization suggestions. By the way: we not only offer thorough usability reviews and tests for projects that we are developing. We are also happy to put digital applications that already exist to the test.

If the user interface (UI) design doesn’t rock, success won’t follow. While that might be clear, it’s less clear what other factors also play an important role in assessing user experience (UX). This includes being able to find the app or website, the right wording, an understandable structure, short loading times, transparent processes, and much more.

Therefore, we do not see UX/UI design as a merged function, but rather as two very different disciplines, each of which is practiced by dedicated experts.

PS: The “Classic Web Designer” doesn’t Exist Anymore
Because we are sometimes asked: classic web designers like those in the early 2000s, who did everything from conception, UX and UI design, to programming, are already a thing of the past. Today, the skill sets required for all these individual specialist areas are too extensive for a single person to be able to develop high-quality digital products.

Data on user behaviour can be used to identify what drives users and how an offer needs to be designed so that it is really well received. Proactive web analysis – naturally within the framework of legal requirements – will continue to be the basis for successful action in the digital space in the future.

We support our customers in developing and implementing sustainable tracking infrastructures and optimizing their web presence in line with their individual business goals. This includes the following core disciplines:
    - Online tracking / web analytics
    - Development and implementation of customized tracking strategies
    - Optimization of conversion rates

The framework for GDPR-compliant tracking is changing rapidly. Nevertheless, compliant web analytics solutions are possible. All that is needed is precise preparation and an awareness of the opportunities and risks. We help identify suitable systems (Google Analytics, Matomo, eTracker, etc.) and embed them in your digital infrastructure.

In four simple steps we arrive at a suitable strategy for meaningful web analytics:
    - A joint meeting to determine your tracking or web analytics needs
    - Deriving suitable tracking solutions or creating an optimization plan for existing systems – with anonymous data, without PII
    - Advice on the implementation of GDPR-compliant tracking.
    - Developing a strategy for your web analytics.

There are many conceptual and technical approaches to web analytics that are sustainable for companies and users. One of them is server-side tracking. Tracking is set up in such a way that the use of third-party cookies is practically a thing of the past. In addition, much more control can be exercised over the transmitted data. An example of this is the complete removal of IP addresses before they are sent to Google Analytics.

Apart from complying with GDPR, the most important thing when setting up a tracking system is the right strategy and proper implementation. Because if you think about what really matters early on, you will get a more efficient tool that provides new, reliable insights into user behaviour and performance every day. The basis for this is a solid tracking concept that is tailored to the needs of your business.

The information from tracking is valuable. But it is not of value in itself, it is a means to an end. The aim is to lead the user to act without disruptions in the user experience. In short, it’s about conversion optimization.

With conversion optimization, all levels along the conversion funnel are examined. To do this, we look at all the analogue or digital action steps that a user goes through until the action goal is reached. The action goal can be, for example, that a user registers or buys something.

Funnel analysis is a very good way to formulate, implement and test optimization hypotheses. To do this, we take the following five steps in consultation with our customers:
    - Identification and analysis of funnel levels
    - Formulation of recommendations for action (hypotheses) in coordination with the goals of the tracking strategy
    - Adaptation of assets (advertising materials, website modules, content elements, etc.)
    - Set up and execute testing (e.g. A/B testing)
    - Evaluate results and implement accordingly

Nothing works without branding. Without a strong identity, there is no attention, no recognition, no differentiation from the competition, no trust. This must be stated clearly. A convincing brand, on the other hand, conveys the value proposition of a product or a service at a glance.

We support our customers with solid branding know-how to make their brand relevant and attractive – and take them through all the steps to achieve this goal: from the development of a brand identity to a future-proof corporate design.

This firm foundation is formed by a solid, timeless brand personality, which we define with authentic brand values. We build upon this brand personality to enable a consistent brand management: brand name, claim, corporate design, employer branding activities, and much more.

We don’t have to reinvent the wheel. We can very often build on existing brand concepts, which we professionally bring up to date with a great deal of finesse.

The brand and its identity are essential prerequisites for the further design processes in which services, apps, websites and other touchpoints are designed. We make a point of ensuring that our designs are durable and easily adaptable to future requirements.

Among other specialist areas of good design, at FONDA we cover the following:

CORPORATE DESIGN: To communicate a brand consistently and recognizably across all media channels – digital, print, ATL (above-the-line), social – a strong corporate design is needed. We develop memorable, unmistakable logos and forward-looking corporate design concepts that are also guaranteed to optimally function digitally.

UX & UI DESIGN:With GUI (Graphic User Interface) you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. Everything simply must fit – and immediately appeal to the end customer. This is what our UI designers are good at, and they and pay special attention to ease of use, whether it’s for an app, a website or another digital platform. An essential prerequisite for a GUI that rocks is a well thought-out UX design, which our experts develop using state-of-the-art methods – from user research and wireframes to clickable prototypes.

SERVICE DESIGN: Long overlooked, it is now very clear that services must also be well designed in order to convince the end customer. Our service designers take a holistic view of the entire customer journey in order to optimize all aspects of the customer experience.
It’s not just about websites and mobile apps, it’s about the entire system behind them. This includes the procedures and processes within a company as well as all touchpoints with customers.

MOTION DESIGN: The trend has been unbroken for years: images are getting bigger – and more moving. As important as texts are in the right places, moving images are increasingly essential. Our motion design experts create moving images for the web, apps and TV, emphasizing the modernity and dynamism of a brand.

Today, more than ever, moving images have an attraction that can be used in an extremely wide range of ways. We also support you with all other types of videos such as branded entertainment, corporate TV, product videos, event videos and much more.

Step by Step to the Top Spot:

    1. Integration into Communication Strategy or Campaign
A video rarely stands alone, it is usually a part of an overarching communications strategy or campaign. We therefore plan the interaction between video and other campaign elements in terms of content and design very carefully.

    2. Designing an Intelligent and Far-reaching Storyline
500 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. Against this sheer flood of moving images, your own video must first assert itself. The way to do this is to come up with a really strong, compelling story.

    3. Using Images, Movement, Language, and Audio Appropriate to the Media
The formally perfect implementation of the story depending on the objective, target group and media channel is multi-layered and accordingly requires diverse expertise. Videos that are primarily consumed on smartphones, for example, follow completely different guidelines than those produced for TV.

    4. Optimizing Loading Time and Transmission Quality
The best video is useless if it doesn't load on your smartphone. Therefore, we ensure a balance between good technical quality and low data volume. To achieve this, we select the right codec and video format and ensure a flawless implementation.

    5. Reliably Reaching Target Groups
Imagine you produce a video and nobody watches it. That's why we think about the distribution strategy right from the start of every video project. With well thought-out media planning and proven tools such as social media marketing, online PR and referral marketing, we ensure the desired reach in the relevant target group.

The power of images is indisputable. The impact of this power naturally depends on the quality of the images used. It is therefore worth investing in very good photographic material that powerfully supports the brand and the brand message.

Good pictures are unique and convince through their authenticity. They fit into a well-considered image concept that is 100% in line with the communication goals. We almost always recommend a photo shoot to our customers after a briefing that is precisely tailored to the communication concept and the visual language. This is because stock photos rarely meet the quality criteria and can drag down an elaborate campaign. Although the cheap photos flooding the market are very cheap, they are anything but distinctive.

Good storytelling needs good texts. That is clear. But it also needs good images just as much, if not more so. This is because pictures convey at a glance what it’s all about – or not. Photographs should tell a unique story and convey authenticity. We work with several photographers who specialize in different sub-disciplines of photography. Depending on the requirements resulting from the image concept, we make the pre-selection for our customers.

Most modern websites are designed to be responsive. In many cases, this means that the photograph must be scaled so that the subject looks attractive in any image size and on any device. If you don’t take this into account, essential parts of the subject can be cut off by the automated recalculation of the image size.

Our experienced photographers are also given precise technical briefings so that they can take this issue into account during the photo shoot. Professional photographers can also use special formats, such as an extreme wide format for a page hero, in an individual shoot.

Services to Make your Photos really Click:
    - Development of a brand-appropriate, independent image concept as a briefing for a photo shoot or image search from stock photo providers
    - Selection and briefing of a photographer who is suitable for the specific requirements
    - Joint determination of locations for the photo shoot
    - If necessary, recruitment of performers/models
    - Art-Direction während des Shootings für die zuverlässige Qualitätskontrolle
    - Post-processing of photos (especially for use on responsive interfaces)
    - Agreement on rights so that you can use the photos without any worries

The user’s perspective counts even more when designing an app than with any other interactive product. Why? Quite simply because the smartphone is a uniquely intimate thing. For an app to be seen as a valuable addition to a smartphone’s toolbox on this very personal device (and not as just meaningless data), it must be able to do what users find useful or entertaining. This also means that the app must be intuitive to use.

As an app agency, we have been designing and building apps for customers from different industries for over 15 years, using diverse technologies. This allows us to design an optimal customer journey which centres on user experience as a decisive factor in success.

Along with the conception of the user experience (UX), the UI design, and technical implementation, we also ensure a professional release management whether the distribution is planned for the Apple “App Store”, the Google Play Store, or via in-house distribution.

A progressive web app (PWA) is a mobile-optimized website with an app character. PWAs are browser-based and now a real alternative to native apps.

A PWA is offline-capable, can be placed on the user’s home screen, and can access many hardware functions such as cameras or gyro sensors – without any qualitative differences to a native app. Push notifications are also possible (with restrictions on iOS). PWAs can be offered in the Google Play Store (with restrictions). Minor performance drawbacks, compared to native apps, are not relevant in many applications.

One great advantage of a PWA is the integrated development of a responsive website for desktops and smartphone apps. In other words: a common, easily expandable system is built instead of developing three, almost independent, technical solutions (web, iOS, Android).

As an app agency, we are increasingly advising our customers to use a PWA to keep the technical development lean and, at the same time, to be able offer a distinctive user experience on smartphones and tablets.

Progressive web apps (PWAs), container apps, hybrid apps, native apps: there are mixed forms in addition to different types of apps. Each one brings specific characteristics with it and has its own advantages and disadvantages. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can provide you with reliable support in choosing the right technical basis for your app.

    From Idea to Successful App:

    1. Consulting & Strategy
We provide professional support in analysing the target group, market and competition; and in developing a channel, device, and communication strategy. Together, we develop an app concept that perfectly integrates the new application into your business processes and subordinates it to your corporate goals.

    2. UX and UI Design
Once the foundation has been laid, we develop a concrete app concept based on the original idea, ideally backed up by reliable user research. Wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes visualize the concept and the UX design and form the basis for the user interface design (UI design).

    3. Technical Realization
Based on the content requirements and the budgetary framework, we create a technical concept and select the appropriate technologies (progressive web app, container app, native app). We develop all apps in release cycles. You are involved in the test phases and have monitoring access.

    4. Release Management
The completed and thoroughly tested app is now ready for distribution. On request, we are happy to take care of the release management and, depending on the type of app, ensure that it is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, or distributed in-house.

    5. App-Marketing
An app project does not end with its launch. By continuously implementing the channel and communication strategy already developed, we ensure that the app becomes a success. Dialogue with users, ongoing usage analyses, quality assurance, updates, and app store optimization are some of the other measures that ensure the success of an app.

Social media has permeated all areas of life. The average time people spend on social media every day is steadily growing and in many customer segments social media is by far the dominant channel – sometimes even the only one. No other medium allows such a powerful combination of targeting and monitoring.

A well-thought-out social media presence that can flexibly adapt to constant changes must therefore be a matter of course for most organizations and companies – but with a sense of proportion and on the basis of a clear objective and strategy.

Successful marketing relies on attractive content instead of self-congratulation and pure product communication. Many companies have been demonstrating this approach for some time now, especially Red Bull for example.

Intelligent content marketing can address target groups that can barely be reached with classic advertising. A company’s brand can be charged with positive attributes and the SEO effect is enormous.

Regardless of whether you want to get started with content marketing and social media or want to expand or optimize your current activities, we support you with everything it takes to define a successful content marketing strategy and implement it on the right channels – not least on social media.

    1. Analysis and Monitoring
Using a tried-and-tested catalogue of questions, our specialist editors conduct extensive research. We present an overview of the most important questions here.
    Pre-setup Questions:
For the initial analyses, we use online tools such as Google Webmaster Tools, “Social Mention” and Hootsuite.

    - What is being said about the industry, your company, and your competitors and where is it being said?
    - How do other players design their social media presence?
    - What do internationally comparable social media presences look like?
    - Best practice analysis: Who is doing it particularly well?
    - Which audience visits which channels? How much involvement can we expect from these target groups? Who are the opinion leaders?

Questions for Ongoing Optimization During Operation:
With such dynamic channels like social media, especially, staying on top of things is key. Only careful monitoring ensures the desired success.
    - Which social media channels perform best?
    - Which topics generate the most resonance?
    - Which postings only bring reach, and which actual conversions?
Social media is only one instrument in the large orchestra of all marketing measures. Social media monitoring can therefore only provide a reliable picture if it is embedded in cross-channel monitoring and includes all marketing and communication channels such as SEA, display, newsletter, and SEO.

    2. Carefully choosing Strategies and Platforms
Content is king and social media can be its magnificent palace. However, even a palace has chambers where one ends up speaking to oneself all alone. The point is to be present where your message is heard and its goals are supported by an audience. Otherwise, the old, tiresome saying applies: a waste of time and effort.
To make your social media activities as effective and efficient as possible, you first need a good strategy. Based on a solid analysis, our marketing strategists develop a strategy that defines the objectives including KPIs, target groups, core messages and relevant channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat).
We develop a strategy together with you and are happy to implement it and continuously check how it is working. An honest cost-benefit analysis is very important to us.
For smaller companies and organizations, a joint workshop followed by a brief analysis and the creation of a roadmap describing the right steps to social media success is sufficient for strategy development.
Adapting social media activities precisely to the intended goals is clearly worthwhile. In this way, considerable results can be achieved with relatively little day-to-day effort. Some examples:
Lead generation via optimized LinkedIn profiles for sales staff to make outreach sales
An Instagram channel for better employer branding
Support for press relations with the help of a Twitter account
Presence in a younger target group with the help of TikTok
Utilizing all channels only makes sense for very few companies.

    3. Content Creation: It’s always about the Content
Nowhere else is the attractiveness of content as crucial to its distribution as on social media. We produce social media postings, exciting texts, videos and photos, as well as podcasts and newsletter content, based on the previously defined core messages and objectives.

    4. Set Up on all Channels
As soon as the strategy is in place and the first content has been produced, we can get started. We set up your channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), develop an editorial plan either independently or together with you, and ensure seamless tracking right from the start.

    5. Ongoing Support: Also Possible on a Selective Basis
If you wish, our experienced editors can take care of the entire process of managing and monitoring your social media channels. We are also happy to provide selective support for your social media team, for example during the holiday season or for special focuses.

    6. Social Ads for more Organic Growth
Targeted placement of social ads almost always significantly increases the organic success of social media activities. We would be happy to support you in planning your budget in a targeted manner and consider your other online marketing channels (SEA, SEO, display, newsletter, etc.) for a holistic media mix.

    7. Social Media Training and Workshops
Every social media channel has its own rules. In our training courses, we explain the peculiarities of the various channels and train your employees to use social media effectively and efficiently. Using concrete examples from everyday life, we train the entire range of social media in practical exercises.

Whether as a hybrid strategy or online-only: to successfully operate e-commerce today, many prerequisites must be created professionally: a strong brand and positioning, effective online marketing with effective SEO, top user experience on the shop platform, high stability and performance of the technical system and seamless integration into the company’s IT landscape, especially with merchandise management and ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning).

At FONDA, proven experts from all disciplines work together to meet these requirements. We can promise this because we are not only an e-commerce agency and UX professionals, but also a software developer with our subsidiary FONDA Labs.

A shop system not only has to be technically up to date, it must also be widely used. Only then is it certain that the system will continue to exist many years from now. Our developers have specialized in two future-proof shop systems, with which we can implement online shops of all sizes and types well and efficiently.

The system from Shopware AG, Germany, which is especially widespread in the DACH region, is suitable for companies of all sizes, from small businesses to medium-sized companies to corporate groups. Shopware has extensive CMS functionalities and can also be used for international online stores from Shopware 6. As a Shopware agency, we support our customers in the conception, technical implementation and interface integration (especially ERP and merchandise management), as well as in maintenance and operation.

The widely used shop system, WooCommerce, is the perfect shop supplement to WordPress. It is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized stores because, despite its wide range of functions, it requires little implementation effort. We adapt WooCommerce for our customers exactly to their specific requirements and are also happy to support them with online marketing to promote their shop

    Traffic x Conversion
    The calculation is simple:
    Traffic x conversion = success.

To put it another way: the success of an online shop is the product of the number of visitors to the web shop and the proportion of those who actually buy something.

We take care of both factors for our customers:
    - To drive traffic with a broad range of online marketing and by using social media and content marketing.
    - Conversion through the design a top user experience and careful web analysis and conversion optimization.

Our hypothesis #1: 90% of all online stores are not profitable.
Our hypothesis #2: This is primarily because a strategy is missing.

This is why we put our experience and know-how first and foremost into developing a viable e-commerce strategy. This includes defining the shop’s USPs and its positioning. Sometimes it may also be necessary to develop and establish an e-commerce brand.
Success or failure? Whether an online shop performs or not, whether the conversion rate is right or not, depends heavily on the quality of the user experience (UX). Our UX designers employ modern user research and prototyping methods and think of every shop from a user’s perspective right from the start. This is the decisive perspective for success.
