Branding agencies in Qatar: the two with reviews, and the rest of Doha’s directory

Independent ranking: Sortlist does not rank itself, and agencies cannot pay for their position in this ranking.

Reviews are scarce in Qatar’s branding market, so we say what is known, and what is not.

Which branding agency in Qatar for which need?

With so few reviews, these are leads to test, not a final ranking:

  • For brand identities in hospitality and food: Taqnia Creative Agency – 4 published brand identities for a restaurant, a marina hotel, a transport firm and a padel club.
  • For a logo and packaging from a small studio: Everythink Design Studio – a client praises its logo design and quick replies; 5.0 from 1 review.
  • For a Gulf-region team with reviews (outside Qatar): The iBoost – Lebanese agency with 6 reviews (4.9) and 3 published projects in the service; no Qatar office, so unranked.
  • For a very large team on a small budget (outside Qatar): Probey Services – a 320-person Indian agency, 5.0 from 132 reviews, from €300; no Qatar office.

2 Qatari agencies with a client review

Sortlist lists 32 branding providers for Qatar; 28 profiles are visible on the first pages and 24 have an office in Qatar. Only two have a verified review, one each. We scored them with the usual formula (rating, review volume and published branding work), but the score is based on very little data: read it as “has some evidence” rather than “is the best”.

Doha names you will see in other branding lists

Review directories and agency-written lists for Doha keep returning to the same names. We checked each one on Sortlist:

How they look on Sortlist

Names with a Sortlist profile:

  • Halo Lab (Dubai) – A brand identity and product design agency listed first on one review directory for Qatar; on Sortlist it has 20 reviews but its office is in Dubai, so it is not ranked here.
  • Curve (Doha) – A boutique branding and design studio in West Bay; its Sortlist profile has no reviews yet.
  • Digiturnal (Doha) – A Doha agency; its Sortlist profile has no reviews yet.
  • Altair Advertising (Doha) – A digital marketing agency headquartered in Doha; no reviews on Sortlist yet.

We could not find a Sortlist profile for Finyal Creative Solutions, Speedline Media and Advertising or Ostrichess Branding and Marketing, which also appear in other rankings. Without verified reviews on Sortlist, we cannot compare them fairly with the agencies above.

How we ranked the agencies

1. The sample

Sortlist lists 32 branding providers on this page. We evaluated the 28 agencies on the first three pages of the listing, in its relevance order. 5 of them have at least 1 verified client reviews – our threshold for a rating to be meaningful. 1 of those also pays for a sponsored placement and was set aside, leaving 4. Of these, 2 agencies with an office in Qatar were ranked, with 2 verified reviews between them and an average rating of 4.85; the 2 others are listed separately.

2. The score

Scoring criteria
CriterionWeightHow it is measured
Client rating50%Average of verified reviews, placed on a scale from the lowest (4.69) to the highest (5.0) rating in the ranked group
Review volume30%Number of verified reviews on a logarithmic scale, up to the most reviewed agency (1 reviews)
Published work20%Branding projects published on Sortlist, on the same logarithmic scale, up to the highest count (9 projects)

3. Independence

  • Sortlist is a marketplace, not an agency: it does not appear in its own ranking.
  • Agencies cannot pay to enter the ranking or to move up. Agencies with a sponsored placement on this listing are excluded from scoring and shown separately.
  • The order of the listing page, subscriptions and badges play no part in the score – only the three criteria above.

4. Limits

Reviews reflect each agency’s work across all its services, and agencies with few reviews may be excellent but are not yet scored. That is why every entry says what it is best for – and when another agency would suit you better. The ranking is updated regularly.

Briefing a branding agency in Qatar: what to check in Arabic and English

  1. 1

Decide what “branding” means for this project

A logo, a full identity system, a name, a repositioning or packaging are different jobs with different prices. Write it in one line before asking for quotes.

  2. 2

Ask for the Arabic wordmark, not just the English one

The logo should be designed in both scripts together. A translated or retrofitted Arabic version usually looks unbalanced; ask to see both side by side on a sign and on a mobile screen.

  3. 3

    Test names with native speakers

Check the name’s meaning in Arabic, including Gulf dialect, and how it sounds when said aloud. Ask at least three people who were not involved in the project.

  4. 4

    Check the right-to-left layouts

Business cards, signage, the website and presentations should work in both directions. Ask for mock-ups of a bilingual page.

  5. 5

Search for the trademark before you fall in love with the name

In Qatar, trademarks are registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Ask who runs the search and who files the application, and keep the registration in your company’s name.

  6. 6

    Own the files

The contract should give you the editable source files, fonts and the usage guidelines. Without them you are tied to the agency for every change.

Tip: ask the agency to show one brand it built that is still in use after three years. Longevity says more than a portfolio of launch visuals.

What branding costs in Qatar

For project-level figures, Sortlist’s Qatar page says basic branding packages for small businesses and startups cost roughly QAR 10,000 to 30,000, complete branding solutions for mid-sized companies QAR 30,000 to 100,000, and large enterprises should expect budgets starting from QAR 100,000. On the same page, a financial services firm in Qatar posted a corporate identity overhaul project in July 2025 with a stated budget of $75,000 to $150,000. Treat these as ranges to test with quotes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose a branding agency in Qatar when there are few reviews?

Use reviews as one input and ask for more: two client references you can call, a project still in use after three years, and the brief for a past identity. Run a paid first phase, such as a positioning workshop, before committing to the full identity.

Should the agency be in Doha?

For research with local customers and Arabic-language work, a Doha team has an advantage. A Dubai or other GCC agency can work well if it has Arabic designers and handles the trademark and approvals with a Qatari partner.

How long does a branding project take?

Allow several weeks for a logo and identity and longer if naming, research and a full guidelines book are included. Ask for a timeline with the dates of each review round.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one element. An identity is the system around it: colours, typography, imagery, voice, layouts and rules for using them in Arabic and English.

How do I find a branding agency in Qatar on Sortlist?

Compare agencies by published projects, reviews, budget and location, ask two or three for the same brief and compare the proposals. You can also post your project for free and get matched with qualified providers.
