    Twisted Stranger always designs with a purpose, a reason. We aren’t one of those companies that just does what WE like best. Because, in our case, that would mean our designs would be fueled by a substantial amount of horror, melancholy and ‘cut your wrists and hope to die’. Monsters, vampires and characters with huge, cutesy eyes and a high dosage of ‘Happy tree friends’ and ‘Ren and Stimpy’. Not that strange, as we are (early) 90’s kids. And in our puberty, our ‘Golden age’, these were the things that came up a lot in cartoons, on tv and in other media. No. We design using emotions and experiences. We have learned that the experiences of a target audience are always shaped by life experience. Following this universal truth we came up with a theory of our own. Indeed! Shaped by age categories.

    By now it should be clear that we are really passionate about illustrating and we believe that an illustrative approach leads to a unique marketing angle for your brand or service. Not only will an avatar set you apart from the boring masses, our character designs are also one of our unique calling cards. The massive amount of open applications and requests for internship shows that we clearly aren’t the only designers out there who look at the art of illustration as a privilege. Ever since 2007 (FKA PRORENS) we’ve consistently sold our signature illustrations to both business- and commercial clients alike. It was difficult. Very difficult. Because most companies saw illustrations as ‘something for children’ or ‘unprofessional’.

Ik werk nu ongeveer 2 jaar met Twisted Stranger. Heel fijn bedrijf om mee samen te werken. We kregen een zeer welkom ontvangst. Ze komen met onwijs gave en persoonlijke ideeën. Ze zijn goed bereikbaar, helemaal als er een deadline gehaald moet worden en ze zetten een stapje extra als dat nodig is. Ik zou Twisted Stranger zeker aanraden!
