Thanks to Design & Practice's work, we enjoyed a surge in traffic, especially on our case studies pages. Our new articles and designs have received increasing attention. Design & Practice paid special attention to the story behind our company and where we are coming from for our different branding elements. With their expertise focussed on building the brand, we realised we could add some of our own expertise in the area of UI/UX to establish the best result.
What was the objective behind your collaboration?We wanted to elevate the brand image of our interior studio and differentiate our profile from what was happening around us. We were looking for a redesign of our identity to reflect our sense for understated playful luxury and subtle material detailing. Design & Practice designed an identity system that incorporated both straightforward brand assets such as logos and various templates, as well as playful scalable graphic tools and print work. Our business cards still get a lot of positive responses!
What did you enjoy the most during your collaboration?We thoroughly enjoyed the concept phase. Design & Practice dove deep into their research to explore new ways of expressing our identity and provided us with a wide selection of interesting ideas. They push the boundaries of design and material that made our identity a real personal experience. We also loved being made a part of the process, so we could steer the ideas into a direction that works for our situation.
Are there any areas for improvements?The original anticipated deadline got moved a bit, as Design & Practice raised the level of expectation and needed a bit more time for research and due diligence, in order to make sure the identity got developed to its fullest potential. We weren't in a major rush so the extended deadline paid off in terms of quality of execution and attention to detail.
