    Tastes like happy

    Noodle Box was the first to introduce the iconic white, take-away noodle box (previously only seen in American movies) to Australians over 20 years ago now (time flies). More recently they were keen to refresh their position and re-engage with the youth market again. Our positioning ‘Tastes Like Happy’ introduced the idea of feeling better, through eating better – this was brought to life through a music platform that included an experiential campaign activated through events, digital and social media.

    The ‘Tastes Like Happy’ positioning was brought to life through the idea of ‘music to your mouth’. The platform included an experiential campaign that was activated through digital and social media and a brand new website. It was supported at store level with a refreshed fitout, signage and POS.

    What happened next? Noodle Box developed a social voice and re-engaged with the youth market once more. Many noodles, stir fry’s (and Panko Prawns) have been eaten as a result.

    We refreshed the iconic women’s shoe brand Wittner. Strategy was developed from the insight of ‘the feeling you get when you put on that perfect shoe’. We relaunched the brand with a bold campaign featuring Australian actress Emma Booth. Confident, clean, structured, black and white imagery with strong typography all come together to deliver the empowering statement WALK TALL.

    With a vision in place we reviewed every brand touchpoint. From simplifying and optimising the Wittner Brand Mark to redesigned packaging, signage, product labels, e-comm website, blog & all member based and advertising digital communications.

    What happened next? Advertising campaigns relate back to the Brand Strategy and decisions around product design, partners, bloggers and relationships, staff engagement etc have a core focus. Product is being called on for editorial like never before. Wittner has solidified a new relationship with DJ's and new life has been injected into the brand. Customers are engaging and this is being clearly proven at the register.

    We created a muesli brand (name and all) from the ground up. All from the brand platform of ‘Feel good food’ – welcome to Yousli, the makers of whole food muesli. Taste some of their delectable handmade muesli today and get ready to make your day.

    When SEEK was just a name and a visionary idea, we were engaged to create their brand. From the Brand Identity and Brand Architecture through to the brand voice and visual language. The distinct colour palette and irreverent tone of the brand lives on in a brand that is now  a household name.

    What haven’t we created for SEEK? Brand Mark, Office Fit-outs, Advertising, DM, Events, Animated Training Movies, Invitations, Presentations, Video Games, Website Design. B2C and B2B communications, all with with the SEEK brand voice shining through.

    What happened next? 15+ years on, the brand has stood the test of time. It looks and feels the same and even though commercially it's grow up, it's been able to retain the irreverence that made it such a stand out as a start up. Seek pink lives on.

    We worked with Stratton to define and evolve their brand, to give them the focus and the personality required to drive (pardon the pun) the Stratton brand forward. So with the new brand refresh, smarter positioning and relaunch campaign introducing Stratton as ‘Car finance finding machines’… you could say we gave the business a ‘wax and polish’.

    Scrumptious baking franchise group Ferguson Plarre wanted to refresh their brand and become more relevant in today’s marketplace where food is king. We started with Brand Strategy and developed the positioning that… Ferguson Plarre is a family favourite that ‘Makes it good’.

    HOW WE ENGAGE

    After defining brand strategy and positioning we developed a campaign in traditional and digital media to take the new Ferguson Plarre to market. They developed an e-comm website and began to engage with customers in a whole new way.  

    What happened next? By using equity from the existing brand visual assets (but in an all new way) we retained existing customers and appealed to an all new customer base too. Franchisees are engaged and have been officially voted #1 most passionate franchisees in Australia across all categories.

Cobram Estate quickly convinced the team during an olive oil tasting (yes – think wine tasting and replace the wine with olive oil) that Cobram is hands down the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Australia and if you follow the awards recently, now the best in the world. Maybe you should ‘Taste the difference’ for yourself.

    Milk by Michael Klim

    Australian Olympian Michael Klim wanted to create a natural skincare range that spoke directly to men, but wouldn’t look out of place in ‘a gals’ bathroom. And Milk Skincare was born (it’s Klim backwards btw). We developed a brand that reflected Michael’s sense of style and his approachable personality. ‘What you see is what you get’ was the creative platform. And from the translucent packaging design (with ingredients on front) to the iconic advertising imagery featuring Michael with dry, cracking skin – it was very clear that Australian men’s skin needs Milk.

    From the initial brand planning we created a friendly, modern Brand Mark, Packaging Design, POS, Advertising and Digital. Our vision was to was ensure bathrooms all over the world void of ugly male skincare packaging and create lot more men with silky, smooth skin.

    What happened next? From Melbourne beginnings Milk & Co Skincare is now an internationally successful brand and product ranges have been extended in the male range while new baby and women's ranges have also been developed.

    What began as a ‘sense check’ of the International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) brand in advance of redesigning their website with us…  became a complete evolution to strengthen their proposition. We started with a review of brand strategy to to create a solid Brand Story to help IWDA emotionally connect with its many target markets – from donors to corporate sponsors to local, national and international government bodies.

    HOW WE ENGAGE

    After positioning IWDA as ‘Empowering Women to Lead’, we developed their key Brand Touchpoints – starting with their website and digital communications.

    What happened next? Banking corporation ANZ got on board as a corporate sponsor almost immediately with the #equalfuture campaign. Donations increased significantly as did membership, engagement & social media interactions.

    BikeExchange was ready for a rebrand, looking for a strong identity that would take advantage of the digital space (in terms of legibility) and appeal to all riders. We created a brand mark that was designed with all relevant riding disciplines in mind. The new look streamlined ‘b’ was designed to encapsulate the three main rider disciplines represented by a straight line for Road bikes, a jump for BMX and a steep decline for Mountain bikes. You could say this is ‘Everything Bike’ in one mark.

    Before we started on the new brand identity for BikeExchange we had some fun with the previous branding (see below), press play to view our work on a TV spot and digital pre-roll that ran throughout the Tour de France… and then came the brand refresh. 

    What happened next? In the two years since the tvc, we’ve refreshed the brand, it has successfully launched in the U.S. and Europe and has become a naming sponsor of the Australian road cycling team.

    f you haven’t experienced Moose Shopkins, Trash Packs, Blingles, Uglies or Zelfs – you either don’t have kids under 10 or you’ve lost your own inner child. Australian owned Moose exports toys to over 85 countries. They imagine, create and manufacture; they’re an incredible success story. Moose wanted to grow up….without growing up. They wanted to exude strong, minimal, professional branding while keeping it ridiculously fun.

    We used our unique Brand Strategy planning process to humanise and define the Moose brand before rejuvenating the Brand Mark and key Touchpoints. Everything has been ‘moosified’, including their amazing office space, signage, packaging, etc.

    What happened next? Today they have a lot more under 10’s nagging their mums for Moose Toys right around the world. And Moose CEO Manny Stul won 2016 World Entrepreneur of the year (while we’re not claiming responsibility for that accolade – we’re sure the new branding didn’t hurt)
