Carles Cardelús es un fotógrafo de publicidad y moda con sede en Barcelona y Girona (Gerona) especializado en fotografía editorial de moda, beauty, lookbooks y books de fotos para modelos, campañas publicitarias y realización de cine documental. También hace books de fotos para modelos, actores, profesionales y particulares. Como fotógrafo, Carles Cardelús ha publicado en revistas de moda como Grazia, Marie Claire y Pump Magazine. Ha trabajado para agencias de fotografía publicitaria y comercial como HYPE PHOTO & FILMS de Barcelona y ha participado en producciones fotográficas para VOGUE US, BMW e IKEA. Ha realizado campañas de publicidad, beauty, books y catálogos para diseñadores de moda y marcas de belleza de Barcelona e internacionales. Regularmente trabaja para agencias de modelos haciendo books de fotos para modelos y actores y haciendo fotografía de beauty y de retrato editorial. Como director y realizador de vídeo, ha trabajado para empresas como MANGO y dirigido el documental Socotra: The Hidden Land, ganador de 15 premios internacionales. Algunos de los premios destacados son el Rising Star Award en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Canadá, Mejor Fotografía en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Noida de India, Nominación al Mejor Documental Europeo en ÉCU-The European Independent Film Festival y Mejor Documental Internacional en GZDOC de China. Ha trabajado en el departamento de arte para producciones cinematográficas como «The Good Heart» dirigida por Dagur Kari y «I Want To Be A Soldier» dirigida por Christian Molina. Ha sido profesor de cine y fotografía durante 7 años en la Universitat Internacional de Catalunya y la ELISAVA de Barcelona. También tiene el certificado profesional de Phase One (POCP), sistemas de cámaras profesionales de fotográficas de formato medio Phase One y Capture One Pro. Reside actualmente en Barcelona, trabaja con frecuencia en Girona (Gerona) y está disponible para trabajar en el resto de España y en todo el mundo. Ha vivido en Sídney (Australia), Reikiavik (Islandia) y Perugia (Italia) donde ha desarrollado su carrera como fotógrafo profesional de moda y beauty, fotógrafo publicitario y director de cine documental. Carles Cardeús is an advertising and fashion photographer based in Barcelona and Gerona (Spain) specialized in fashion editorial photography, beauty, lookbooks and photo shoots for models, advertising campaigns and documentary filmmaking.

As a photographer, Carles Cardelús has published on international fashion magazines like Grazia, Marie Claire, Pump Magazine and Kluid Magazine. He worked for Spanish photo agencies as HYPE PHOTO & FILMS based in Barcelona and he participated in photographic productions for VOGUE US and in advertisings and photo campaigns for BMW and IKEA among others.

As a Filmmaker, he worked for companies as MANGO and he directed the documentary Socotra: The Hidden Land which won 15 international awards such as the Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival, Best Cinematography in Noida International Film Festival of India, a Nomination at the Best European Documentary in ÉCU-The European Independent Film Festival and at the Best International Documentary in GZDOC of China.

He worked in the art department for a few international film productions such as “The Good Heart” directed by Dagur Kari and “I Want To Be A Soldier” directed by Christian Molina.

He also taught cinema and photography for 7 years in two universities in Barcelona (Spain) at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and ELISAVA.

Carles Cardelús is an Official Phase One Certified Professional (POCP), Phase One medium format photo camera professional systems and Capture One Pro photographic software.

He lives in Barcelona (Spain) and he works frequently in Girona (Gerona). He is available to work all around the world. He lived in Sydney (Australia), Reykjavík (Iceland) and Perugia (Italy) where he developed his career as a professional photographer and a filmmaker.
