FLUID is a filmmaker-led documentary production company based in Copenhagen, with roots in the independent film world in Los Angeles. We create short, in-depth documentary films about complex subjects for brands and organizations across Europe, North America, and internationally. Our work spans science, research, technology, architecture, music, education, and other story-rich fields. We specialize in finding the human story inside subjects that can be difficult to explain, using documentary filmmaking to help audiences not only understand them, but feel why they matter. We work from early research and story development through production, directing, cinematography, and post-production. Projects range from standalone documentary films and multi-film series to ongoing partnerships. FLUID stays deliberately small at its core and builds each production around what the story requires. That can mean one or two filmmakers working closely with a subject, or larger crews and coordinated international productions across multiple locations.
