Product design and engineering studio for founders building hardware
ONMOTIO is a product design and engineering studio headquartered in London. Founders, startups and established companies come to us when they want to turn a hardware idea into a product a factory can actually build. A core team of nine covers industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics and firmware, prototyping, product rendering and launch branding. We design with manufacturing in mind from the first sketch, and our own workshops in Brazil and North America build the prototypes and small batches. For everything else, from series injection molding to textile, upholstery, welding or high-power test benches, we bring in partners we have worked with for years. Every project moves through clear phases: concept, development, prototyping, then detail design and DFM before tooling. Each phase ends with a deliverable and a decision, so you always know what comes next and what it costs. Since 2017 the studio has delivered 150+ projects and contributed to 50+ products on the market in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including the eXalt SOLO light sport aircraft and the KORU air purifier (funded at over 1000% on Indiegogo). Our work has been recognised by the CES Innovation Awards (2020 and 2021) and Epic MegaGrants.
