MuseComm built the event technology stack and ran the marketing for Guidewire DEVSummit. We delivered the 2025 edition and were retained for 2026, which ran four days in Bengaluru for over 3,000 developers, engineers, architects, analysts and startup teams. THE CHALLENGE At this scale an event is a systems problem, not a website problem. Attendees arrive by different routes - individual developers, partner teams registering in bulk, sponsors across four tiers, speakers, university cohorts and Guidewire staff, each with its rules and entitlements. The 2026 format split into Innovator and Explorer editions, so registration had to handle either or both. Filling 3,000 seats also meant reaching developers who ignore conventional event marketing. OUR APPROACH We started with journeys, not screens. Every user type was mapped end to end, from first campaign touch through registration, check-in and follow-up. That kept a system this complex from collapsing into edge cases, and told the campaign who to reach. WHAT WE BUILT Registration platform: separate paths for individual, group, partner, sponsor, speaker, student and internal registrants; role-based entitlement logic driving stream eligibility; bulk registration with delegate management; approvals; automated emails; live reporting. Mobile app: session catalogue with search and personalised agenda building; live agenda sync; speaker and track detail; venue navigation; role-segmented push notifications; feedback capture. Engagement: a points engine rewarding session attendance, lab participation and app activity, a live leaderboard, and goodies redemption with inventory control and on-site fulfilment. HOW WE MARKETED IT Event branding and identity across digital, print and on-site. Graphic design for collateral, signage, stage and sponsor assets. Video production for teasers, speaker promos and the event film.
