The process we use for designing and developing complex web applications can be broken down into several stages, each of which plays an important role in ensuring that the final product meets your business needs. Here's an overview of the key stages involved in the design and development of a complex web application:

Requirements gathering: This stage involves working closely working together to understand their requirements and goals for the web application. This may involve conducting interviews, surveys, and focus groups to gather feedback and insights from stakeholders. (If the requirements have already been gathered internally, then we can move directly to the next step).

User interface design: Once the requirements have been gathered, the next step is to design the user interface for the web application. This involves; design workshops, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to help visualise the design and ensure that it meets your businesses' needs

Architecture and database design: With the user interface design in place, the next step is to design the underlying architecture and database structure for the web application. This involves deciding on the technology stack, defining the system architecture, and designing the database schema.

Development: With the design and architecture in place, the development phase can begin. This involves writing code, integrating third-party tools and services, and testing the application to ensure that it meets your needs.

Testing and quality assurance: Once the development phase is complete, the web application must be thoroughly tested to ensure that it is free of bugs. This involves unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Within Agifly we provide development type services. Our experience ranges from developing basic websites, to more complex website, web applications, mobile applications, E-commerces ... Our process always starts with a design sprint, to align the product or service to be developed with our partner.

Our design sprint, covers 5 critical steps:

1. Strategy: Stakeholder discussions; project Vision; Goals; Brand strategy
2. Discovery: Competitor analysis; Analytics review; content audit; User interviews
3. Analysis: Use cases; Persona creation; experience map; workflow diagram
4. Design: Idea gathering; Wire-framing; Prototyping
5. Production: Development; User testing

The design sprint is usually organised between 1-5 days. However this may be shorter, or longer, depending on the project. Prior to any development works taking place, our client-partner will have a workable prototype that show how the product or service will be developed. This methodology has proven to work extremely efficiently and provides a very clear pathway forward. Our methodology is based on the Google Ventures methodology.
