Bienvenue Studios is a graphic design office from Zurich. We create visual culture from nature: Biophilic Design. An environment with nature-based elements has a positive impact on people's health and well-being. Through Biophilic Design, we bring a piece of nature into everyday life. Furthermore, due to our origins, we form a bridge from the Swiss mountains to Chinese culture. Our activity is divided into two areas: self-initiated design products and graphic design client commissions. Oliver Hischier grew up in Brig in the middle of the Valais Alps. Xiaoqun Wu, on the other hand, comes from Shanghai, one of the largest metropolises in the world. While Oliver was surrounded by nature in his childhood, Wu grew up between skyscrapers and confined spaces. When she moved to Switzerland at the age of 12, she discovered the beauty of natural landscapes for herself for the first time. Their paths eventually crossed at the F+F School of Art and Design in Zurich. Since then, they have been working together and completed their Master's degree in Design at the Bern University of the Arts in 2019. In exchange with Wu, Oliver learned that nature is not equally accessible to everyone – due to geographical location or a hectic everyday life that allows hardly any breaks.
