Our focus is to bring you actionable business opportunities and we do our very best to help you get in touch with prospects you’re interested in.
The background check that we do on each project we share with you minimizes risk but it cannot eliminate it. In such cases, you might be wondering if you qualify for a refund.
Here are the situations that do qualify for a refund:
You couldn't get in touch with the prospect in the 7 days that followed the opportunity application. You’ve tried to contact them:
When a prospect declines your application, you are refunded 100% of the value of the opportunity.
The following cases will be considered fake identity:
You’ve already paid for the same opportunity. Two opportunities will be considered identical if:
Note that requests for refunds can be submitted up to 60 days after applying for an opportunity.
If the request is approved by our team, we’ll convert the price of the opportunity into Opportunity Credits. These credits can then be used to apply for future opportunities and are valid for 12 months. You can see them in the Plan and Modules section of your agency application.
The following cases do not fall under Sortlist’s responsibility (according to our Terms & Conditions) and do not qualify for a refund:
No refund will be issued if the prospect chooses another agency, hires internally, or withdraws their project.
No refund will be issued if the project scope changes.
No refund will be issued if the budget of the project changes from the one initially entered on Sortlist.
No refund will be issued if the project is delayed or put on hold
No refund will be issued if you’re no longer interested in an opportunity you applied for.
You can request a credit refund directly from your billing page.
Here's how to do it:
Once submitted, we’ll process your request within 1-2 business days. Within this time period, we’ll investigate and gather all the necessary information in order to correctly process your request.
Once our team has processed the request, you’ll be notified of the decision by email. If the refund is approved, we’ll convert the opportunity value into Sortlist credits and the amount will be accessible in your module balance.
