Hi I'm Jake, the Founder of DigiSurf “I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak in me. I think I got it from my Dad. From the age of about 7 or 8, my Grandad took me to car boot sales (yard sales if you’re American). It was a little game where I would buy things for cheap and go home to sell them for more money on eBay. Fast forward to finishing Uni and the 9-5 life just wasn’t cutting it for me. I wanted to build something. I tried and failed a lot. But these failures have led me to where I am today. After travelling around the globe, I stumbled upon someone who was a writer. I never thought I could be a writer as I’m dyslexic, but as she taught me and I grew into the profession, I learnt dyslexia is actually a superpower as it boosts creativity and problem-solving. My brain works differently, but that’s a good thing! Online writing then led me down the SEO rabbit hole, and I found myself having too much work and not enough time in the day, so I hired a freelance team.
