WordPress and WooCommerce development by a WordPress Core Contributor. One senior developer.

SoftGlaze is a one-developer WordPress and WooCommerce studio led by Azhar Ali, a WordPress Core Contributor. Since 2022 SoftGlaze has helped businesses launch, fix and grow their websites, with direct access to the developer at every step. There is no sales layer and no outsourcing: the person who scopes your project is the person who writes, tests and supports the code. Every claim can be checked on WordPress.org before you hire. Azhar is credited on 7 WordPress core changesets, including a PHPUnit regression test that shipped in core and ticket #65802, a bug he reported and fixed for WordPress 7.2. SoftGlaze publishes 8 plugins and 2 themes on the official directory, including SoftGlaze PDF Invoices for WooCommerce, SoftGlaze Click to Chat and the Warqa block theme, and holds 10 WordPress.org contributor badges. Seven years of work and 150+ delivered projects, including 60+ WordPress websites and 20+ WooCommerce and Shopify stores for clients in the Netherlands, the UAE, the UK, the US and Pakistan. Recent work includes Kliniektarieven.nl, a Dutch cosmetic clinic comparison and booking platform, Klustarief.nl, a Dutch home services marketplace, and a portfolio of bilingual English and Arabic WordPress websites with local SEO for a Dubai notary and legal practice. What we do: custom WordPress websites and block themes, WooCommerce stores with custom checkout and PDF invoicing, WordPress plugins and API integrations, PHP and Laravel web applications with React front ends, technical SEO and schema markup, speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals, hacked site recovery and security hardening, maintenance, and white-label WordPress development for agencies. How we work: a written scope and a fixed quote before any work starts, a staging site you can review from the first week, code to WordPress coding standards, and a full handover of code, logins and documentation. Rates from $15 per hour, projects from $500. English and Urdu spoken.
