Websites built around the client's business, not around a template. Azerbaijan - working worldwide.
My Digital Home is a digital studio in Baku, Azerbaijan. We build websites, online stores and web applications, design interfaces and brand identities, and run paid advertising and social media, with the same team carrying a project from the first meeting to launch. How we work. Every project starts with a brief rather than a layout: what the business needs to achieve, who its buyer is, and what has to be proven to that buyer before they get in touch. The structure follows from that answer. For a construction company we built the site around completed projects, because in that industry evidence closes the deal. For a restaurant we kept it to three pages, menu, atmosphere and contacts, because anything else dilutes the decision to visit. What we do. Websites and online stores; web applications, custom CRM and ERP systems, integrations with payment providers, bank credit programmes and partner APIs; UI/UX design, branding and print; targeted advertising, Google Ads, SMM and video content for social media. Technology is chosen for the task: clean HTML/CSS/JS, Python/Django, Node.js (NestJS), React and React Native, or WordPress and Shopify where a ready platform fits better. Evidence rather than adjectives. Our clients include a manufacturer with a 90-year history, a laboratory supplier for the oil and gas sector with 25 years behind it, an internet provider and a restaurant: companies in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the UAE and Russia. In advertising we publish real numbers: 95 course applications in 10 days at $1.35 each, and 80 enquiries in 5 days at $0.93 on a budget of $74.70. Terms. We work under an official contract between companies, with a prepayment to start and staged payments on larger projects. Websites start from EUR 1,300 and take from 14 working days; web applications and custom systems are scoped after the brief. We work in English, Russian and Azerbaijani.

Web applications are where a business stops being served by a website: a product catalogue that has to sync with a partner's system, orders that have to reach the warehouse, a process that currently lives in three spreadsheets and one person's head. We build web platforms, marketplaces and online stores with a full order pipeline - catalogue, filters, cart, checkout, notifications, discounts - along with custom admin panels, CRM and ERP systems tailored to how a company actually works rather than to how a boxed product assumes it works. The stack is chosen for the load and the roadmap: Python/Django or Node.js (NestJS) on the backend, React on the front end, React Native when the same product also has to run on iOS and Android. Integrations are usually the real work: online payments, buy-in-credit through banks, product synchronisation with partners over APIs, and automation of the routine operations that consume staff time without producing anything. We do not only build from scratch. A large part of what we do is extending systems that are already running - adding a module, connecting a payment provider or an external service, rebuilding a section that has outgrown its original design. An existing system with real users is a constraint we work within, not a reason to start over and bill for a rewrite. Every project runs under an official contract between companies, with a prepayment and staged payments - for example 60% up front and 40% on completion. Timelines are scoped individually: unlike a straightforward website, a platform's schedule depends on the integrations and the size of the admin panel, and we would rather give a real estimate after the brief than a comfortable one before it.

A strategy here means answering, with evidence, where a business should be present and why. We analyse the market, competitors and target audience, define competitive advantages and decide which channels do the work: a website, search visibility, paid advertising, social media - or only some of them. For most clients the outcome is deliberately narrower than expected: fewer channels, done properly, in the right order. We would rather say that a channel is not worth the money than sell it. Because development, design and advertising sit in one team, a strategy is not handed over as a document for someone else to implement - we can execute it ourselves.

Custom software here means systems a company uses to run itself: a CRM built around an actual sales process, an ERP that matches how the warehouse and the accounting department really exchange data, or an internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet three people edit at once and nobody trusts. We start from the process, not from the software. Before anything is written we map how work moves through the company today, where it stalls, and which steps a person performs only because no system does it for them. Quite often the honest answer is that a company needs one integration rather than a new product - and we say so. What we build: custom CRM and ERP systems, automation of routine operations, admin panels and internal dashboards, and integrations between services that were never designed to talk to each other - payment providers, bank credit programmes, partner catalogues over APIs, accounting and delivery systems. Mobile applications are built with React Native, so a single codebase runs on both iOS and Android instead of doubling the budget. Technology: Python/Django and Node.js (NestJS) on the backend, React on the front end. The choice follows the load and the roadmap, not our preferences. We also work on systems that already exist and cannot be switched off: adding a module, connecting an external service, rebuilding a section that has outgrown its original design. Software with live users and real data is a constraint to work within - a rewrite proposed as the default answer usually serves the contractor, not the client. Projects run under an official contract between companies, with a prepayment and staged payments. Scope, timeline and price are quoted after the brief: for a system that has to fit an existing process, an estimate given before understanding that process is a guess.

We run social media as a system rather than a posting schedule. Work starts with analysis of the market, competitors and target audience, and results in a promo strategy and a content plan. Our standard Instagram plan is three posts a week, stories twice a week (three a day) and a content shoot every two weeks - the volume can be scaled up or down, and the price moves with it. Shooting, editing and post-production of video and photo are included: we do not ask the client to supply footage. If a task needs extra material, we arrange an additional shoot at no cost. We also set up the account itself - profile header, highlights, visuals - then work on reach, track performance metrics and report regularly, so the client sees what the money produced rather than a feeling that "the page looks better now". Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. We work in Russian, English and Azerbaijani.

Every website starts with a brief rather than a template: what the business needs to achieve, who the buyer is, and what has to be proven to them before they get in touch. The structure follows from that answer - for a construction company the site is built around completed projects, for an internet provider around three product pages, for a restaurant around the menu and one-click contacts. We build landing pages, business-card sites, multi-page corporate websites and online stores. The tool is chosen for the task: clean HTML, CSS and JavaScript where speed and uniqueness matter, Python/Django or Node.js for anything with a backend, or WordPress where the client needs to update content without a developer. A ready platform is not a lesser option - it is set up professionally for the business, not dropped in as a theme. What a client gets: a unique design aligned with their brand, a fully responsive layout, clean and fast code with a high PageSpeed score, SEO and AI-search (GEO) readiness - correct markup, speed, semantics - a custom admin panel where one is needed, and multilingual versions. Two and three-language sites are routine for us: we work in Russian, English and Azerbaijani. Hosting is part of delivery: Vercel, Google Cloud or cPanel. For straightforward sites Vercel's free plan means no monthly hosting cost at all - the client only pays for a domain, usually $10–20 a year. Images are served from cloud storage so galleries never slow the page down. We work under an official contract between companies, with a prepayment to start and staged payments on larger projects. A straightforward site takes from 14 working days. Small tweaks during development - colours, sizes, animations - are free; changes beyond the approved design are agreed separately, never added silently to the invoice.

Our video work is vertical content for social media: Reels, TikTok videos, stories and video creatives for paid campaigns. We shoot and edit - the client is not asked to supply footage or to film something on a phone between meetings. The process is built around a content plan rather than one-off shoots. On our standard Instagram package there is a content shoot every two weeks, which yields the material for three posts a week and stories twice a week. Shooting, editing and post-production are all included, and if a campaign needs extra material, we arrange an additional shoot at no cost. What makes this work commercially is that we also run the advertising, so a video is judged by numbers instead of taste. In a campaign for a maderotherapy practice we did not shoot anything new: we looked at which of the already published Reels produced more conversations at a lower cost, and built the whole campaign around that one video. The result over five days was 80 enquiries at $0.93 each on a budget of $74.70. A well-shot video that nobody responds to is not a good video, and the only way to know the difference is to measure it. We work in Russian, English and Azerbaijani, and produce content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Paid advertising is where a marketing budget either produces enquiries or quietly disappears, so we run it as a measured process rather than a set of boosted posts. We work with targeted advertising on Instagram and Facebook and with Google Ads. A campaign starts with the offer and the audience, not with the creative: who is being addressed, what they are choosing between, and what would make them write today. From there we build the audiences, prepare the creatives and the copy, launch, and then narrow the campaign down on real data - keeping what brings conversations at a reasonable cost and switching off what does not. Two campaigns with their actual figures. For an online English school we brought 95 course applications in 10 days at an average of $1.35 each, with a click-through rate of 9.30% and a cost per click of $0.03; individual applications ranged from $0.57 to $2.95, and the campaign was later extended beyond Azerbaijan to the wider CIS region. For a personal brand we brought 90 enquiries in 5 days at $0.95 each on a budget of $86, with a lead magnet as the entry point - one of those enquiries became a client who stayed for four months. We also deal with what happens after the click: where the traffic lands, how fast a reply arrives, and whether an enquiry at three in the morning is answered by a chatbot or by nobody at all. A campaign that sends people to a page nobody prepared is money spent on traffic rather than on customers. The ad budget is a separate line item from our work. The client pays the platforms directly and sees every manat of it, and we recommend starting from 400 AZN per month: below that the algorithm does not collect enough data to learn, and the cost per result stays unstable. Reporting is on real numbers, including the months when the cost per enquiry went up. A campaign that gets reported only when it goes well is not being managed, it is being presented. We work in Russian, English and Azerbaijani, and run campaigns for clients in Azerbaijan and abroad.

Collaboration

What was the objective behind your collaboration? We needed a website that presents our company properly: what we manufacture, our history and the clients we work with. It had to be in three languages and simple enough for a customer to find what they need and get in touch.

What did you enjoy the most during your collaboration? The team took time to understand our business before proposing anything, and kept us informed at every stage. Deadlines were met, and the requests we raised during the work were handled quickly and without friction.

Are there any areas for improvements?Nothing significant. At the start we would have liked a bit more guidance on preparing the texts and photos from our side.
