What was the objective behind your collaboration?The objective behind my collaboration with Emote Digital was to create a professional and high-performing ecommerce website and launch a digital marketing strategy to grow my brand online. I wanted a team with strong creative direction, technical skill, and marketing expertise, and Emote delivered in every way.

What did you enjoy the most during your collaboration?What I enjoyed most during my collaboration with Emote Digital was how easy and collaborative the entire process felt. The team was incredibly responsive, creative, and genuinely passionate about the work. It was amazing to see how each person brought their own expertise to the project, and how smoothly everything came together. I also really appreciated how well they listened to my ideas while offering valuable advice and improvements. The end result was even better than I imagined.

What was the objective behind your collaboration?My objective was to generate a consistent stream of bookings for spa and scalp therapy services at my business, Hair Spa Melbourne. I had recently hired a full-time hair therapist and needed at least 15 bookings per week to sustain the role. I clearly communicated this goal to Emote Digital at the outset, along with my limited financial resources, making it clear that the campaign needed to deliver tangible, timely results to help keep my business afloat.

What did you enjoy the most during your collaboration?Unfortunately, there was very little to enjoy during the collaboration. While the initial onboarding process seemed professional and communication was polite at the start, the experience quickly deteriorated due to missed deadlines, poor campaign performance, and lack of accountability. What began with optimism ended in disappointment and financial loss.

Are there any areas for improvements?Project management and communication were poor, tasks were delayed and updates lacked transparency. The campaign underperformed, and most agreed deliverables weren’t completed. Instead of resolving concerns, the company responded with legal threats. Emote needs to improve accountability, delivery, and client support significantly.
