StoryWe zijn De Animatiebus — een klein, gepassioneerd team uit Amsterdam dat sinds 2016 animatie van idee naar beeld brengt. Vanuit de overtuiging ‘van kijken naar maken’ combineren we vakmanschap en nieuwsgierigheid: we maken animatiefilms in opdracht en ontwikkelen workshops die mensen écht laten experimenteren met film en media. We herinneren ons hoe spannend het was om technieken toegankelijk te maken voor leerlingen en culturele bezoekers; die uitdaging maakt ons werk zo rijk. Soms betekent dat knutselen met eenvoudige middelen, soms het aanscherpen van een storyboard tot het klopt. Wat ons drijft is dezelfde nieuwsgierigheid die we bij deelnemers zien: het plezier van zelf iets creëren en ontdekken hoe beeld verhalen kan vertellen.
