Clayit
Design you can hold, hang and scroll.
Clayit is a small brand and event studio working out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Amman, in English and Arabic. Most of what we make gets printed, mounted, handed out or walked past, which tends to settle arguments about whether a design is finished. You deal with the two founders, not an account manager. Farah Khatib leads design and events. She spent more than seven years at Al Masaood, rising to Senior Graphic Designer and Events Manager. There she led a design team, guided brand standards across the group's businesses and drew the mark for its fiftieth anniversary. Ziyad Urabi leads marketing. He was Marketing Manager at Dimlaj Group for ten years, where dimlaj.com and the group's social accounts did over AED 2 million in UAE e-commerce sales in a single year. What we make: - Brand identity, guidelines and packaging - Event identity and everything the room needs: stage screens, media walls, signage, invitations, name tags - Bilingual print: magazines, brochures, catalogues and company profiles - Websites and Shopify stores built to sell - Social content, campaigns and SEO - Corporate gifts, from Ramadan and Eid hampers to employee welcome boxes Clients include Al Masaood, Al Wafaa Dates, Agrimatco, Twentis, Leaders Production, House of Zein and Grace Movement. How we work: before drawing anything, we look for the one decision that settles the rest. Usually it's a colour, a module or one key visual. We build it at the size most likely to break it, a name tag or a favicon, then scale up. And nothing ships until it has been printed, mounted or tested in a browser. Anything that can't be checked is an opinion, and opinions are not deliverables. Tell us what has to exist, and by when. No review yetBe the first to write one

Description Small web apps that replace a spreadsheet, a paper form or a long WhatsApp thread: client intake questionnaires that save as you type, quoting and invoicing tools, booking flows and simple dashboards. We run our own studio on tools we built this way, including a client questionnaire with autosave, an offline quoting, invoicing and accounting app, and an Instagram planner that scores posts before they go out. Each one is designed as carefully as a website, built for English and Arabic where you need both, and handed over with the code.
Learn more about Web ApplicationDescription Content strategy for brands that post a lot and say very little. We work out what you should be known for, who it is for and the few subjects you can own, then turn that into a voice guide, content pillars, formats and a copy library your team can pull from. For a salon in Amman we wrote a 37 page client care handbook with a script for every question clients ask, at the front desk, in DMs and on WhatsApp, and reel scripts built from the founder's own voice notes, ready to film. We write in English and Arabic, dialect included. You bring the moments, and we make sure they add up to one brand.
Learn more about Content StrategyDescription Marketing for companies that sell in a room as much as on a screen. Our marketing founder spent ten years as Marketing Manager at a UAE group that sells to trade customers locally and for export, with an online store and social accounts that did over AED 2 million in UAE e-commerce sales in a single year. That is the mix we plan for: the campaign idea, the launch, the event, the printed piece and the digital channels, all designed by one team so they read as one brand. We start with what you need to sell, to whom and by when, then put the budget where it moves that number. English and Arabic throughout.
Learn more about MarketingDescription Packaging for food, retail and gift ranges. We work on the printer's dieline from day one, so the artwork fits the box it is going on. A range gets one system, so every flavour or size still reads as the same brand from across the shop, with English and Arabic labelling set properly in both. For Al Wafaa Dates, one lattice emblem became the pattern on stand up pouches, presentation boxes, powder blue tins, gift bags and wrapped cartons. We also design corporate gifts: Ramadan and Eid hampers, onboarding kits and employee welcome boxes. The gift, its packaging and the brand it carries are designed by the same hands. Sign-off happens on mockups, and files go to print with dielines and colour notes.
Learn more about PackagingDescription Advertising built on one idea strong enough to survive every size it runs at: the billboard, the magazine page, the social ad and the screen in the lobby. For an Abu Dhabi group's sustainability campaign, the idea was sea life drawn out of plastic waste: a fish skeleton made of single use cutlery, jellyfish made of drinking bottles, a turtle built from waste. Six posters carried the argument, then the same mark moved onto bins, bags and office screens. We shape the idea, design the key visual and adapt it to every format, in English and Arabic, so neither language reads like the translation.
Learn more about AdvertisingDescription Long-form print, the pieces people sit down and read: corporate magazines, brochures, product catalogues and company profiles. Bilingual work is where we are strongest. On the fifth edition of Al Masaood's corporate magazine, English runs left to right on one page and Arabic right to left on the facing page, meeting at the gutter, so neither reads like a translation of the other. For Agrimatco we designed an 80 page product catalogue for their fertilizer range, with a coloured band on the edge of every page that tells you which range you are in before you have read a word. Files go out print-ready, checked for bleed, image resolution and fonts, and we can deal with the printer for you.
Learn more about PrintDescription Email people open, designed and built by the same studio that made the brand. Newsletter templates your team can fill in themselves, campaign emails built around one clear idea, and the automated flows every online store needs: welcome, abandoned cart and post-purchase. Arabic emails are set right to left rather than mirrored from the English. We build in Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Shopify Email and check every template on real phones and inboxes before the first send.
Learn more about Email MarketingDescription The design side of corporate communication: internal campaigns, corporate magazines and newsletters, company profiles and brochures, vision, mission and values panels, onboarding kits and the screens people pass on the way to their desks. Most of our Al Masaood work sits here. The Go Green campaign did the work of a policy document in three words, Think. Act. Save., and six posters, then carried the same mark onto recycling bins, tote bags, welcome gifts and office screens. For Masaood 2.0, vision, mission and values each got a panel on the same horizon, with a different figure standing in it. Everything comes in English and Arabic. We handle design and production, not press relations or media buying.
Learn more about Corporate CommunicationDescription Digital strategy and the work that carries it out, led by our marketing founder: ten years as Marketing Manager at a UAE and worldwide group whose online store and social accounts did over AED 2 million in UAE e-commerce sales in a single year. We start by finding where your customers actually come from and where they drop off, then build the plan around the few channels worth your money: social, search and AI search, email, and the website they all point to. For a salon in Amman, that meant a 20 page master deck with positioning, personas, an Instagram strategy and the KPIs to judge it by, then a grid we write, design and ship. Not sure where you stand? We start with a free teardown of your site and channels on a call.
Learn more about Digital StrategyDescription Motion design that comes off the work we already made: animated logo stings and key visuals, kinetic type, titles and lower thirds, looping cuts for stage screens and office displays, and social edits with subtitles in English and Arabic. For Masaood 2.0 the key visual was cut into an animated opener that started the event on the stage screen. Subtitles are white with a soft halo, placed by reading the luminance of each frame, so type never lands on a face or a product. We animate, edit and subtitle. We are not a crew, so you bring the footage, or we build the piece from stills, type and motion.
