Who they are Captains of Leadership is a collective of facilitators founded in 2017 and based in Zonhoven, Belgium. Their identity rests on the belief that allowing the inner facilitator to lead helps organisations become more adaptive, inclusive and creative.

StoryWe started Captains of Leadership in 2017 in Zonhoven with a simple conviction: facilitation is a pure form of leadership and everyone can practice it. As a collective of facilitators we learned early on that the most powerful moments happen when people move from being passive participants to active co-creators. Our days are spent training people to become facilitative leaders, designing and delivering moments of co-creation inside organisations, and supporting teams as they build a co-creative culture. We’ve faced scepticism — leadership must be top-down, people said — and we met it with practice, patience and scalable tools. We remain driven by one thought: when inner facilitators break free, organisations and communities become better places to work and live.
