StoryWe started Bruens & van Eijk because we wanted design to be more than images on a page. Since 2019, Ralph Bruens and Brigit van Eijk have run a studio in Lc, Netherlands where curiosity guides our process. Our lighthearted, research-based approach means we prototype as much as we sketch: programming, interactive media and print sit side by side. Early projects taught us that communication is strongest when it is lived — not just read — so we focus on work people don’t just see but experience. We enjoy blending conceptual rigor with play, testing ideas across mediums until a surprising, human moment emerges. That mix of craft and experiment keeps our practice fresh and invites collaborators who want bold, tangible results.
