Black Oar Studio is a one-person digital studio run by Jens Guenther. The person who quotes your project is the person who builds and ships it — no account managers, no handoffs. We work in three areas. BUILD: website systems, landing pages and custom Shopify storefronts, as a Liquid theme or headless on Astro with Shopify's checkout. VERIFY: fixed-price website audits and Shopify QA reviews — three customer journeys, retest included. GROW: AI search optimization, automation workflows and AI content systems. Every price is published: Fix Sprint €170, website audit from €510, Shopify QA review €570, landing pages from €1,720, website systems from €5,390, Shopify storefronts from €5,870 — net, for businesses only. Audit and QA fees are credited in full against a build started within 60 days. Our own site is the reference: its measurements are public on a proof page, and our research pages publish what AI crawlers actually do on it, read from our own logs. Projects on this profile are concept and demo builds, clearly marked as such. Before building on the web, Jens spent twenty years as a master craftsman in glass and façade construction. The rule from the workshop still holds: measured before it's built, built to fit, installed by the person who made it.
