Anima, in Niçois, means soul, spirit, that which makes things alive. What makes us alive is telling stories. Fantastic, crime, romantic, funny, horror, documentary, or science fiction stories, in film, book, or on the web, it doesn't matter. But always original, relevant stories that move you, entertain you, or make you think (sometimes even all three at once!). In short, make you feel... alive. While telling stories in the form of films was for a long time our only mode of expression, for almost 4 years now, we have expanded it to new media such as the internet and ebooks. In other words, at a time when many of our colleagues refuse the inevitable evolution imposed by digital technology, we have decided to embrace the shift towards dematerialization. Thus, we can now truly conceive transmedia universes that unfold across films, books, and websites. The idea is always the same: to offer you a strong and memorable experience (a story that is forgotten after a few days is certainly a bad story).
