I am a freelancer based in Spain looking to increase the amount of remote work I do as a video editor. I have worked for YouTube channels with over 500,000 subscribers, and I have experience delivering high-quality projects within tight deadlines. I don’t just cut and paste video; for my current clients, I develop the b-roll for their videos based on their scripts, add simple animations, titles, colour grading, audio editing and overall image and sound enhancement. I also offer my clients the option to use music from paid library, as well as paid stock footage (both from Artlist). I’m used to quoting prices for my projects based on a rate per minute of the final product. For example: a 10-minute YouTube video that we agree on at $10 per minute would cost $100. The price per minute is negotiated based on how demanding the project is. Personally, I’m interested in projects related to science, culture, languages, travel and education. I’m not at all interested in product-sales projects or get-rich-quick schemes linked to finance, or content that I don’t feel aligned with. I’ve actually got enough work on my plate as it is, and I’m on this platform to find projects that motivate me to produce high-quality work. I use AI within different tools to help me improve the quality of my work, but it isn’t the basis of my creative process. If you’re looking for someone to edit 230985230 pieces a week to a terrible standard – in other words, someone who prioritises quantity over quality – then I’m certainly not the person you’re looking for. Learning new languages is a great incentive for me :)
