LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications, wanted to launch their top of the range mobile phone in the region. This new fully loaded multimedia phone, LG ARENA (LG-KM900) was being launched in the Middle East. Since its global release, not only did ARENA create huge media interest and buzz from bloggers, but it had also achieved over 1 million pre-order bookings from various carriers worldwide. ARENA was LG’s new flagship model for 2009 that offered an exhilarating audio and video experience with top-of-the-line multimedia features.

White Water PR, a Dubai based PR agency, promoted the brand with several international DJs such as Chris Lake, Conan Liquid, Dibby Dougherty, Scottie B, Lisa Mafia and MC Harvey. We did the launch at all the happening lounges and clubs in Dubai. The use of DJs in the PR campaign helped in attaining instant brand recognition and recall in the minds of the consumers. This triggered demand and eventually increased the phone sales. White Water PR featured the DJs on the front pages of several lifestyle publications in the UAE such as City Times and Tabloid to reach out to the potential target audience.
