New SOS Kinderdorf web presence

SOS Kinderdorf was founded by Hermann Gmeiner in 1949 when the first of many homes was built in Imst, Tyrol for socially underprivileged children and orphans. Today, SOS-Kinderdorf is active worldwide in 133 countries.
The task was to adapt the design and the functionality of the website sos-kinderdorf.at in order to bring it up to modern creative and technical standards, thus enabling potential donators to more easily access an SOS sponsorship.
Focussing on clear information structure and user-friendly processes the web presence of SOS-Kinderdorf was newly designed. The design was adapted to the objectives of SOS-Kinderdorf and subsequently implemented on all terminal devices.
Heart-warming children`s drawings, clearly arranged coloured icons, large pictures as well as a prominently placed news area convey at first glance the emotional message of SOS-Kinderdorf and help attract news SOS sponsors.
On a technical level the contents of all the international web sites were migrated to the Kentico Enterprise Marketing Solution, providing SOS-Kinderdorf with many further possibilities to analyse and improve its online measures.
