Could you describe your company?

My name is Cedric, I'm Creative Director at Alpaga Studio. Alpaga is a creative and strategic Branding and Design agency in the Mons area.

How were you used to develop your business before knowing Sortlist?

Our method for approaching client used to be... well, we simply didn't have one. We focused on production. We didn't have an Account Manager, nor did we have a website. We mainly worked through networking. We didn't really have a plan to find new clients.

What convinced us to go for it was that Sortlist had a really proactive approach to announcers

How did you find Sortlist?

We regularly meet up with Nicolas Lambert, who is a personality in the advertising world, and he told us “listen, right now I'm following a cool start-up, Sortlist. You might be interested, because they really are the kind of service which could bring you business without having to hire an Account Manager”.

Why did you decided to give it a try?

What convinced us to go for it was that Sortlist had a really proactive approach to announcers, and that they had a partnership with the specialized magazine Media Marketing. We told ourselves it was an opportunity for us as well, since they would be the one taking the steps to find projects which would suit us, and we just had to wait for interesting opportunities and respond to them.

Could you describe your experience?

The first positive experience we had with Sortlist was with Softscale. I accepted the project and wrote up a short text to convince them. Apparently it convinced them since Softscale's CEO directly phoned me, we joked around on the phone and then we met up. We studied together the needs he had, the objective he wanted to reach, and we used all the means at our disposal to succeed.

What if a friend asked you 'why should I use Sortlist'?

If I had to recommend Sortlist to friends or to partner agencies, I would say that it is a good approach to get to clients they may not expect to get to. Sortlist is kind of the Sales Manager for Communication agencies.
