VerhaalWe launched Pool Practice in 2021 in Berlin as a small creative studio driven by curiosity about how design speaks to culture. From day one we focused on design strategy, conception and graphic design, privileging visual experimentation, rigorous structures and detailed typography. Building flexible visual systems for brands, books, websites, exhibitions and campaigns, we learned to balance bold ideas with the practical needs of clients—commercial companies, cultural institutions, independent artists and entrepreneurs. Early projects taught us to translate conceptual thinking into usable systems across platforms. Today we still iterate visually, testing type, grids and systems until they hold up in print and pixel. We take pride in close collaboration, thoughtful craft and designs that join cultural discourse rather than follow it.
