Luminous Industries is een bureau voor branding en digitaal design. We werken met organisaties waarvan het werk belangrijker is dan de meeste mensen van buitenaf beseffen. Elk project begint met een grondig begrip van jullie werk, waarbij jullie de expert blijven van jullie eigen vakgebied. Van daaruit ontdekken we waarom mensen voor jullie zouden moeten kiezen — meestal iets specifieker dan iemand binnen de organisatie verwacht. Dat antwoord bepaalt alles wat volgt: de positionering, het merk, de website en de manier waarop het werk vanaf dan wordt uitgelegd. Onderzoek en inzichten bepalen het design, niet andersom. We ontwerpen merkidentiteiten en bouwen Webflow-websites, met UX als leidend principe gedurende het hele proces. Branding and positioning, with you in the room from the start. You know your work better than any agency will. We start there. Before anything is designed, we take the time to understand what you actually do, properly, at the level you would explain it to a colleague. Then we work it through together, with you as the expert on your own subject, until we can say why the people you want to reach should care about you specifically rather than about the category you sit in. That answer is your positioning. Everything thereafter follows from it. Name, logo, typography, colour, and the system that holds it together. The research decides those choices. It is not written up afterwards to justify them. What you end up with is your story told in a way your ideal customers can believe in and engage with, and a brand you can hand to a designer, a funder or a new starter and have it come back sounding the same. Webflow websites, designed around what your visitors came to do. Before anything gets designed, we take the time to understand your work and who is arriving at your site looking for it. You lead on the subject, we lead on how people will meet it. UX is the guiding principle throughout, so every layout and interface decision answers to what a visitor is actually trying to do. Then we build it properly in Webflow. The site is made from reusable components rather than one-off pages, so it still holds together after your team has been adding to it. Content runs on the Webflow CMS, so you edit it yourself without waiting on a developer. There are no plugins to patch and nothing that quietly breaks when something stops being maintained. Where you need more than Webflow does on its own, ecommerce through Shopify for example, we connect it rather than starting again. What you end up with is a site somebody can arrive at cold, understand and act on, and that you can keep current yourself.
