Descripción Most people building a digital product face the same two bad options: hand 35–40% of the company to a CTO who has three other jobs, or sign with an agency that starts delivering in month ten. We exist as a third option. NomuLabs is a Madrid-based product studio that acts as the technical co-founder for people who don't have one, and takes no equity for it. We're 17 people in-house, working in Node, React and TypeScript, with our development team composed of senior and junior full-stack engineers. Founded in late 2021, we've built products for organisations ranging from early-stage founders to international corporates. What we believe: AI tooling has made it trivially easy to produce software and no easier at all to produce good software. The result is a growing gap between what people can prototype and what they can actually put in front of users. Closing that gap is the work. Services Clarity & Feasibility Before anything gets built. We define what the product actually needs to be, what has to be validated first, and whether the technical approach holds. For companies who have an idea and need it turned into a buildable specification. Technical audit For teams who built a prototype themselves, usually in Lovable, Claude Code or similar, and need to know whether it survives real usage. About a week of analysis, followed by a plain-language report covering security, scalability and blocking issues, with a prioritised fix list. Low commitment, and the most common way clients start with us. Build from zero First production version in 7–8 weeks. Scope cut hard to what genuinely needs validating rather than everything on the wishlist. Comes with a detailed PRD and approved designs before a line of code is written. Fractional development team Ongoing delivery on a monthly retainer. Full squad, no hiring, no management overhead. For products in market that need to keep evolving. AI integration Agent systems and AI layers built into existing product and corporate ecosystems. Practical implementation, not proof-of-concept theatre. How we work 1. Discovery and scoping. We sit down with you, understand the business problem rather than the feature list, and propose how we'd approach the first phase. If we don't think we're the right team, we say so here. 2. Definition. You get a detailed PRD covering exactly what will be built, and designs you approve before development starts. Changing a screen in Figma costs nothing. Changing it in production costs weeks. We front-load that decision deliberately. 3. Build. Your squad has a senior developer leading, a project manager as your day-to-day contact, and our CTO overseeing architecture. Recurring check-ins with real status, including when something is behind. 4. Production and iteration. We ship, then build against what actual users tell you, alongside the roadmap you've set. If a commercial opportunity changes your priorities, we adjust resourcing up or down rather than pointing at the contract. What you can expect A fixed scope, not a running clock. We agree functionality, not hours. If we misjudge the estimate, that's our problem to absorb, which is also why we won't take on work we don't think we can deliver. One person to talk to. A dedicated project manager translating between you and the developers. The single biggest failure point when a non-technical founder works with a development team is communication, and we staff for it rather than hoping. Visibility before commitment. You'll see the designs and read the specification before development begins. No discovering at the end that it isn't what you pictured. Honesty about timelines. We won't tell you tomorrow when it's Thursday. Things do go wrong on projects, ours included, and you'll hear about it from us early rather than late. No equity, no lock-in. If someone wants a team that executes a brief literally without questioning it, there are agencies better suited to that than us.
