HistoriaWe are Mobile Function, founded in 2011 in Villingen‑Schwenningen in the Black Forest. From the start we tackled a simple but persistent challenge: business processes stuck on paper or split across systems. To fix that we built ENGINE4, our own software platform that lets teams configure processes on smartphones and tablets — truly without media breaks. Early iterations were shaped by real users: we learned that adaptability and clarity matter more than bells and whistles. Today we focus on customizing ENGINE4 for each customer so teams can monitor, control and automate their operations with confidence. We stay hands-on, iterating with users and keeping our roots in the Black Forest while looking to the future.
