Dutch Brigade, founded in 2020, with more than 25 years experience. We, Edo and Hessel, are now working together as a team. Due to the high demand for integrated campaigns and therefor having photography and video at the same time on set, we started to work together as one. Both highly skilled directors, photographers & cinematographers, we seamlessly work as a team. Now you can have it all. One integrated campaign at the same time. We met more than 25 years ago on the beach discussing the surf of the day. During our time at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, we became close friends and often worked together as a team. After graduation we both, separately, started a career in photography and film and now, 25 years later, we have joined forces again. Wanna hear the full story? Let’s have an espresso together. But, if you prefer, feel free to handle your own and just use our expertise as photographers and directors. Our own production service can supply you with all you need: locations, casting, props & wardrobe, locations & permissions, set building, art direction, accommodations & hotels, travel, budget management, studio’s, traffic control, post production, music & sound design. Awards & Clients Our work is internationally awarded many times (including 2 Gold Lion’s, AOP, ADCN, EuroBest, Clio, Communication Arts, American Photography, Graphis, IPA, Montreux) and Edo’s work became listed in the top 50 Ad Photographers Worldwide (source: Lürzer’s Archive) for the past 12 years.
